Delete your Kari account

You can request the deletion of your Kari account and all associated data at any time. Once your account is deleted, this action cannot be undone.

Option 1 — In the app
Open Kari → Settings → Delete Account and follow the on-screen instructions.

Option 2 — By email
Send an email to hello@withkari.com from the email address associated with your account. Use the subject line “Delete my account”.

When your account is deleted, we remove the following data:

• Your account information (email, profile, credentials)
• Recipes, images, and other content you created
• Family-related data such as group memberships, meal plans, and shopping lists (where applicable)

In certain cases, limited data may be temporarily retained after deletion if required for legal obligations, security purposes, or fraud prevention. Any retained data will be deleted as soon as the retention requirement expires.

Deletion requests are typically processed within 7 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.
